FLAMESHIELD® aboveground storage tanks are manufactured with a tight-wrap double-wall design. Meets the UL 142 standard features that include 2-hour fire-tested performance, built-in secondary containment and interstitial monitoring capability.
The Flameshield® tanks offers more fire related performance than a standard double wall tank. The tanks are fire-tested and meet UL 142 standards, but do not proivde a passive fire-resistance duration beyond the 2-hour fire tested performance. Applications for the Flameshiled® tanks include fleet distribution terminals, bulk plants, contractor yards, equipment rental yards, heavy equipment yards, manufacturing & industrial facilities, and marina & waterfront fueling locations.
